COURSE DESCRIPTION

A SPECIAL 1 HOUR INTRODUCTION TO HOOPERS SESSION HELD AT FLETCHER HALL, EAST SALTOUN. TIME: 11.20AM - 12.20PM DATE: SAT 30th AUG Are you looking for something new that you and your dog can learn together? Hoopers is a great way to give your dog both mental and physical stimulation while building your bond and having fun together. Hoopers is an easy to learn dog sport where you work with your dog around a course of hoops, barrels and tunnels. No jumps, no high apparatus and no sudden turns mean this sport is low impact and suitable for all breeds. Over this special 1 hour long workshop you will introduce your dog to all of the equipment, begin learning as a handler how to guide your dog and finish by having a go at running your dog around a beginners Hoopers course. 📣 This class takes place outside at Fletcher Hall, East Saltoun so please come prepared for the Scottish weather. Please be aware that since this is an off lead dog sport your dog will be required to have a good level of engagement and recall to participate. The class takes place on Fletcher Halls green and although we will have this space to ourselves, the green is not fully fenced so you should be confident in your dogs ability to stay with you and train. ✅️ Reward based training. ✅️ Run by an accredited Canine Hoopers World Instructor. ✅️ Fun, relaxed class. ✅️ Build your dogs confidence and connection to you. ✅️ Suitable for all breeds and handler abilities. ✅️ Open to fully vaccinated dogs over 6 months of age.
